FlowFoundry AI collects only the information needed to respond to enquiries, maintain reliable records, and keep the website secure.
Information we collect
When you send an enquiry, we collect your name, email address, optional company name, selected project type, and message. We also process limited technical information, such as a shortened IP address, browser user-agent, submission events, and delivery status, to protect the form and diagnose problems. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics also processes website usage information such as pages visited, interactions, device and browser details, referral information, and approximate location.
Optional website analytics
Google Analytics 4 is not loaded until you choose to allow analytics. It may use analytics cookies or similar browser storage to distinguish visits. After the contact API confirms a successful enquiry, we send a generate_lead event only when analytics has been allowed. We do not send your name, email address, company name, project message, phone number, selected project details, or other contact-form contents to Google Analytics.
Responsible party and purpose
FLOWFOUNDRY AI (PTY) LTD, registration number 2025/881937/07, is responsible for this information. We use enquiry details to understand and respond to requests, consider or prepare possible projects, maintain appropriate business records, secure the website, and meet legal obligations.
How the information moves
Your browser sends enquiry information to the FlowFoundry AI website API hosted through Next.js and Netlify. Enquiries are stored in Supabase and copied through Google Workspace email. If you allow analytics, website usage information is sent separately to Google Analytics. Contact-form contents are not included in that analytics flow.
International processing
Netlify, Supabase, Google Workspace, and Google Analytics operate internationally, so information may be processed or stored outside South Africa. FlowFoundry AI remains responsible for deciding why and how the information is used and considers applicable data-protection safeguards when selecting and configuring providers.
Security and access
We use restricted server credentials, database access controls, encrypted HTTPS connections, form validation, abuse controls, and limited operational access. No internet service is risk-free, but access is limited to people and systems that need the information for the stated purposes.
Retention
We keep enquiry information only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage a prospective or active business relationship, maintain legitimate records, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and protect the service. Analytics information is retained according to the configured Google Analytics property settings. Your analytics choice remains in your browser until you change it or clear local site data.
Your rights
You may ask whether we hold your personal information, request access or correction, object to processing, or request deletion where retention is not required by law or a legitimate business need. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
